Changelog

Prophit.ai deploys continuously, so this changelog aggregates weekly rather than per release. September 1, 2026 marks the Platform 1.0 general-availability baseline; work before that date shipped during beta.

Platform 1.0 — general availability

Prophit.ai 1.0 is the general-availability baseline of the platform. Everything below shipped and hardened during the beta period; from this date the changelog aggregates changes weekly on top of this baseline.

  • Sales tax compliance workspace: transaction ingestion, deterministic-first taxability determination with ML fallback and human review, jurisdiction-level rate resolution, and period-close re-checks.
  • Purchasing (use) tax compliance: invoice OCR and AI extraction, use tax accrual review, and vendor overcharge detection workflows.
  • Exemption certificate management, both sides: sales-side collection, validation and renewal; purchasing-side generation, issuance and tracking — included in every plan.
  • Filing preparation: filing-ready worksheets and return packages for all 51 state-level jurisdictions, reviewed and approved by a human before anything leaves the building.
  • Sales Tax Engine and Use Tax Engine (early access): standalone calculation engines behind an API, feeding determinations back to source systems.
  • Sales Tax Atlas: 51 state and DC guides, 8,000+ product-treatment records, 3,800+ county and city rate pages, all pinned to official sources; free filing-deadline calendar and local-rate datasets.
  • Analytics and reporting, AI assistant, sales tax matrix validation, QuickBooks connector, API access, and role-based team workspaces.
